Livestock and Animal Health Section Head, Irawati Harry Artharini said the animals vaccinated are pure local cats with the requirements of being at least eight months old, in good health, not pregnant or breastfeeding, and fasting for at least eight hours before being vaccinated.

It aimed to control the population and maintain the health of cats. "It will be a routine agenda, both for local stray cats and those kept by residents," she stressed.
The vaccination received appreciation from Pasar Manggis Urban Village Head, Purwati.
